Thrifting Finds to Make Emily Henderson Proud

Lately, I’ve had this thing for brass candles sticks. Whenever I go to the thrift store all things brass is always on my list. This past Friday, I found those adorable ducks at a thrift store near our new home. The duck bust bookends make me very happy! I’m a lover of all and any brass animal figurine. A new thrift store fascination for me is handmade pottery. After taking a pottery wheel class a last weekend with my mom and sister, I gained a new appreciation for handmade pottery. It’s hard to create something beautiful on that wheel! Trust me and the big pile of crumpled clay ‘masterpieces’ I made.
