Home Tour : Bedroom

We moved into our one bedroom apartment in the beginning of October, and I’m only now feeling like we live here! For the first couple of months it felt like we are staying on the 18th floor of some hotel downtown St Paul. I can’t believe that this September, Joel and I will celebrate six years together! Wow! Time really does fly by! Moving in together has been so much fun! The only draw back is finding space for all my stuff. I keep little swatches of fabric to tubs of glitter to ever pair of shoes I’ve ever owned — I think I’m kind of a hoarder. Going from double closets and two bookshelves of shoes, to the right half a closet was nearly impossible, but after about a half dozen trips the goodwill, Joel could finally hang up more than his work clothes! Now, let the little bedroom tour begin…

Vintage green dresser I found barrier in my mom’s garage!
All my favorite things on display! Gold “K”, framed pastel artwork, style books,
and four leaf clover dish filled with some of my bracelets.
Eiffel Tower trinket all the way from Paris.
Vintage jewelry stand holding a few more bracelets and a couple of dainty pearl necklaces!
It’s a small space, but the gorgeous view of the river makes our bedroom feel cozy and relaxing.
Hidden shoe collection and statement necklaces.
Our view!

  1. OMG! I am so jealous, of everything! Your view (GASP!) I would love to move to St. Paul or downtown Minneapolis and have an amazing view… the Eden Prairie Mall really isn’t the best view in the world ;) Love your vintage dresser and how organized everything is! :) Congrats on moving in together and how exciting that you will soon be celebrating 6 years!
