vintage guy’s cardigan // vintage tie // forever 21 bow pin // aldo wedge loafers
I took these photos yesterday before the girls came over for some wine & pizza to watch chat & watch the bachelorette. Personally, i am team roberto, but chris is pretty darn adorable too. The vintage cardigan is a large in mens & the tie i made into a belt simply by adding a silver & pearl bow pin to secure it all in place.
Today, after work i did a little op-shopping for next collection of stock. I got my hands on some absolutely adorable pieces! Can’t wait to show you all :)
Ok, so i know i talk often about my piling workload, but i think i will be buried up to my eyebrows in to-do’s this weekend. A few things need altering for the store, more sourcing, photos need to be taken of the stock, another photo shoot for Lori’s Shoes, prepping for special project, organizing our next facebook giveaway and tons of laundry! I have also been dying to finish reading “eat pray love” before the movie comes out. She just arrived in india, so have still have about 2/3 of the book left!!
As of right now, there is less than 24 hours until all our listing expire!! Be sure to get your last minute bids in so you can enter yourself into our LOOKBOOK giveaway to win a $50 gift voucher to our store // click here to enter //
Here is a little round up of all the places GPV has been spotted this week :)
1. I did an interview with Zahra of Weapons of Mass Seduction blog (super cute name!). I loved all the questions she had for me. Some of the things she asked i had never thought about before. For example, she asked ‘is there any trend you wished was never created?’ I didn’t realize until than i did have a very specific trend in mind that i absolutely despise. Generally, i am someone very open to unique & different trends, but this one…ew. // read the full interview here //

2. Chictopia was kind enough to feature one of my photos on the homepage of the site. When i find one of my photos in unexpected places like Chictopia’s homepage or The Skinny i am always taken back for a moment. The second i see the photo my heart pauses, my breathing stops & i think ‘no way, i can’t believe it’. To shake myself from the thought that this many good things can’t happen to one person, i have to tell or show someone. Usually it is either joel or erika or my family. If they see it, then i know it is really happening.
I just want to thank each and everyone of you who reads my blog, visits our facebook page, shops at the store, suggests us to their friends or leaves a lovely little comment, because without all of you i would have never been able to get where i am now. I can’t wait to share this adventure sparked from one little dream with all of you. In short: thanks :)
