PORTNEY WHISKEY
A crisp, cool front has hit Minnesota and I couldn’t resist picking up this oversized cable knit sweater from the thrift store the other day. Fall is easily my favorite ‘dressing’ season. The layers, colors, and textures make Fall almost effortless to dress for. One of my favorite beginning of Fall pairings are chunky knit long-sleeves with bare legs. I added some final touches with my coveted leopard scarf and these snakeskin-embossed brown stilettos by Sam Edelman courtesy of the Lori’s Shoes team. I’m truly in love with pointy-toe heels this season, because they have the ability to elongate my legs, and, well I just think they look sexy on! I’m already dreaming of other Fall looks to pair these shoes with — silky palazzo pants and a simple, cropped cashmere sweater or full, A-line mini dress topped with a camel trench coat.

Hi kitty! Sorry I’m getting back to you so late, thank you for the sweet words! So flattering coming from you since I have been following your blog for some time now :) hope to run in to you at Envision this wknd!
This look is so adorable – love the sweater dress with the bare legs, it’s cozy, comfy and subtly sexy! Wish there was more weather that accommodated both sweaters and bare legs! Loving the bag & the leopard scarf, too!!
What a cute outfit! I love your cozy sweater! Such a perfect outfit for the start of fall! :)

agreed, the chunky knit with bare legs is a great interplay of fabric and skin. pointed toe heels are always fabulous, as far as i am concerned, and can infuse many looks with immediate elegance and refinement. great pairings here!

I love this! I just moved to Minneapolis and am starting to check out thrift stores/vintage shops. Do you have any recommendations?
