Refinished Our Old Dresser

This dresser was actually Joel’s dad’s dresser as a young kid growing up and it was passed onto us when we moved in together a couple of years ago. It’s a wonderful dresser, but the bleach blonde wood color and random crayon drawings on the side that didn’t really go with the rest of our decor. There’s nothing a gallon of paint can’t fix! I chose a sort of muted seafoam green color, which sounds kinda ugly and made Joel very skeptical of what I had planned, but when I finished we both loved the way it turned out! The color I settled on was Dutch Boy “Rainy Season” in a semi-gloss finish and Rust-oleum brass spray paint for the hardware. Our place is coming together one weekend project at a time!
